We have collected and analyzed various public and semi-public data dumps from various security breaches. From these data dumps, we have extracted email:password combinations and applied some analysis techniques to them. Our analysis is based on more than 1B email:password combinations.
Credit goes to the zxcvbn password estimator, we used it to calculate complexity, entropy and strength score of the passwords we have.
We'd like to stress the fact that we do not scan deep, dark and other snake oils.
We process and analyze information from the public domain only.
We do not store any confidential information or its parts i.e. passwords.
